Honestly, I haven't tried them in the dark yet but in the garage after the install, they're very much brighter than the OEM fogs.
It remains to be seen if they're too bright either with oncoming traffic or need to be adjusted. I think I read somewhere that the fogs CAN be adjusted somewhat.
