No. Standard halogen H8 and H11 bulbs are closely related but have different specifications. H8 normally uses a PGJ19-1 base and 35W rating, while H11 uses a different PGJ19 keying arrangement and is commonly rated at 55W. Some aftermarket LED products are cross-compatible with H8/H11 sockets, but that does not mean every halogen or HID bulb can be interchanged safely.

First confirm that the vehicle actually uses H8 in that position. Closely related bulbs such as H11, H9, and H16 can look similar but use different tab or electrical specifications. Also check that the bulb is oriented correctly and that an aftermarket housing hasn't changed the original socket design.

Check the connector, fuse, ground, and power supply on the non-working side. Make sure the bulb is fully seated and then swap the left and right bulbs where practical. If the problem follows the bulb, the bulb or its electronics may be faulty; if it stays on the same side, check the vehicle circuit.

Condensation can appear if the bulb gasket, rear cover, or housing seal isn't seated correctly after installation. Inspect the bulb O-ring, housing vents, rear cap, and surrounding seal before assuming the replacement bulb itself is causing the moisture.
