Description

This page features a pair of Underground Lighting Plug and Play 6 Ohm 50W LED Load Resistors for LED Fog lights and Day Time Running Lights. Price is for a Pair

These 6 Ohm, 50 Watt LED load resistors will work on any vehicle and can be connected across the turn signal bulbs or License Plate Lights to simulate the load of a regular filament bulb (2 Amp load). This will solve LED related fogs lights and daytime running light problems such as hyper flashing, no flashing or burnt out bulb indications. One LED resistor is required for each bulb.

 

Please note: The gold box resistors gets very hot and can melt plastic. It's best to mount to the metal frame or zip tie it away from plastics.

These work good. I used JB weld to adhere to the backside of the steel bumper so that its has good heat dissipation. No CAN buss problems on my BMW 328i e93 after install of the led yellow fog lamps.

Works but runs very hot...

I have an 08 VW MKV GTI. My dash light instantly when away after installing this PNP LED Load Resistor... But be warned the gold part gets EXTREMELY HOT and it will melt any plastic it touches.

The owner of Underground lighting himself, Danny, installed a pair of these on my 2014 BMW X6. It seems this year of BMW still needs resistors installed since the Electronic Control Module isn’t up to date enough to have an LED bulb conversion option. That only made itself available on X6’s in 2018. Danny’s great. He won’t let you leave his store or have any of his products installed and let you leave anything but the happiest customer. That’s dedication to customer service.
