No, you can't, as there is a difference between HID and LED conversion kits. If the vehicle comes with factory HIDs, you cannot convert to LED without heavy modifications, and the visibility with LED will be worse than the HID. H9 and 9005 bulbs may appear similar but aren’t directly interchangeable. H9 bulbs are single-filament bulbs designed for high-beam applications, while 9005 bulbs have a different wattage and base design and are often used in high beams or fog lights. Some modifications may help them to fit, but it isn’t recommended as it can affect beam pattern and performance.

While these bulbs look similar, they're designed for different purposes. The key differences:

  • 9005s generally power your high beams
  • 9006 bulbs are designed for low beams
  • The base design is different - 9005 has a thinner mounting base and gasket, while 9006 has a thicker base design to prevent incorrect installation
