Underground Lighting's 3157 LED Resistor Harness is designed exclusively for vehicles experiencing lighting issues just after upgrading from incandescent or halogen lights to LED turn signals or daytime running lights. Built as a plug-and-play solution for most modern vehicles, this harness simulates the load of a standard incandescent bulb without cutting, splicing, or adding standalone resistors.
Each hyperflash resistor comes with a 6-ohm, 50-watt resistor that matches the power drawn by a traditional filament bulb. This stabilizes the circuit and restores normal blinking behavior for LED turn signal and DRL applications.
The harness is compatible with both standard single-color LEDs and dual-color switchback bulbs, helping balance the load on the turn-signal circuit for proper operation.
Stops Hyper Flashing and Error Messages
The 3157 LED resistor helps stop hyperflashing and error messages caused by switching from traditional incandescent or halogen bulbs to LEDs.

Installation
The 3157 LED resistor is installed directly inside the vehicle’s factory socket. Thanks to its plug-and-play installation, there is no need for splicing or custom wiring. Simply plug it in, mount the resistor to a metal surface, and restore proper signal performance.
Installation time: Approximately 10 minutes.
Heat Safety Information: Load resistors generate heat during operation and should always be mounted to a metal surface away from plastic components. This applies to all load resistors on the market.
Important Fitment Note: This harness fits vehicles with a factory socket that locks into place using three tabs. If your OEM socket uses two or four tabs, such as certain older models or some Toyota vehicles, this harness will not fit. We recommend comparing your socket to the product photos.

I was sceptical at first, these look like the ones on Ebay an Amazon. I was wrong just installed and was quick and easy and worked!! My led bulbs would flicker when my headlights were on. Not anymore, I forward this site to my son to buy some for his jeep. I will be getting more for the front of my truck also
I'd definitely recommend these to anyone who does not want to cut into wires, this plug and play set up works great on my 2010 Camaro. They feel high quality and they heat sink around the resisters. You will definitely need to mount them to something that can transfer heat as they do get fairly hot. All and all when I'm changing out for LEDs in any car I'll be picking more of these up

So, I didn't get these to help stop hyperflash, I needed them due to getting the parking light out message on my 2019 RAM Classic 1500 after installing new LED switchback headlights. NONE of the alphaOBD hacks worked but these did. I'm not familiar with resistors and set up so the only problem I had was they lacked any directions or troubleshooting (or at least in my shipment), had to google for best troubleshooting method. Someone online had a good note on how to test if they are set up correctly and how only one side should get hot and needing to rotate either the bulb or the connection. After finding the help document and some flipping of stuff, they worked great. Would recomment 100% over any splice type setups for sure!

The hyper flash was driving me crazy. Once I purchased these I really didn't think it was going to work that good, but once I put then on my Ram 1500 I was excited to see them work properly.

Holy smokes that hyperflash is annoying! The connectors plugged right in, I just had to slightly shave the plastic on the base of my led bulbs to fit in the socket. No biggie. 2007 Dodge 2500.... fixed 😉!

Resistors work as they should, my only complaint was how the wires were ran together. Made it difficult to mount the resisters since there wasn’t very much play
The 3157 LED wiring upgrade has given me brighter tail lights with an easy install. No hyper flash any more.
I was a little concerned after installation because my car was giving me an engine error that I couldn't put my finger on. But after starting the engine and letting it run for a little bit, brake tests and indicators worked just fine. No error codes, no hassle. And this fixed my hyperflash problem. These were also a much better solution than wiring the system manually. Thanks Underground.
You can find these on Amazon for much less, but given the heat these generate I didn’t want to put that garbage on my truck. These are high quality, I’ve had them on for a month with no issues.

They’re working good so far. No known issues. Does not hyper flash. I added some aluminum tape to the area I placed them as well as covering any adjacent wires for added heat protection.
