Underground Lighting 1156 LED bulbs provide high-output, bright white light (6000K) for compatible cars and trucks for applications such as turn signals, brake lights, reverse lights, and daytime running lights. Each bulb uses 9 CSP LED chips and produces 1800 raw lumens, with 1600 lumens behind a lens.
Their IP65 waterproof construction makes them suitable for exterior vehicle lighting applications on compatible cars and trucks. It also helps avoid digital and VHF radio signal interference.
The best part? 1156 LED comes with an aluminum circuit board to support thermal diffusion and heat resistance. This increases not only the bulb's efficiency but also its lifespan.
For turn signal applications, a 50W 6-ohm load resistor is required to prevent hyperflash or error codes. The resistor is not included with the bulbs, so the turn signal installation must account for this requirement.
These bulbs are not CK compatible and are made for standard sockets only. They are compatible with 1156, Ba15S, T20, and car brands like Jeep, Honda, Acura, Subaru, Toyota, etc.
Avoid using these bulbs for headlights.
