Complete LED Conversion Kits & Bulbs for Exterior and Interior Vehicle Lighting
Underground Lighting offers a premium collection of LED conversion kits and LED replacement bulbs designed for headlights, fog lights, turn signals, brake lights, reverse lights, DRLs, and interior lighting. Using advanced LED (light-emitting diode) technology, these bulbs provide efficient illumination without the filaments or gas used in halogen and HID systems.
The collection features automotive-grade SMD LEDs and high-performance output chips, each selected for its application. Headlight bulbs are designed for accurate chip placement to maintain a focused beam pattern; fog-light bulbs provide wider light distribution, and signal bulbs prioritize fast response and clear on-off contrast.
Performance varies by product. Selected headlight kits may produce 6,000-12,000 lumens per pair while consuming only 40–60W, delivering up to 3–5× more usable light than standard halogen bulbs with efficient power consumption. Always check the specifications on the individual product page before ordering.
Compatibility, CANbus & Electrical Integration
Many modern vehicles use CANbus or bulb-monitoring systems that detect changes in electrical resistance. Since LED bulbs typically draw less power than halogen bulbs, some vehicles may display warning messages, flicker, pulse, or hyperflash after an LED upgrade.
This collection includes CANbus-compatible LED bulbs, anti-flicker resistor decoders, and plug-and-play load resistors designed to:
- Help prevent dashboard error warnings
- Reduce flickering, pulsing, or hyperflash
- Support stable operation with compatible vehicle electronics
Products in this collection are designed for standard 12V automotive systems, with many plug-and-play options that require no cutting or permanent modification of factory wiring. However, compatibility varies depending on the vehicle, bulb position, and electrical system.
What This Collection Includes
LED Headlight Kits & Bulbs
Available in H1, H3, H4, H7, H9, H11, H13, 9004, 9005 (HB3), 9006 (HB4), 9007, 9012, 880/881, and H15 sizes.
Choose from single-beam and dual-beam options are available for low beams, high beams, DRLs, and combined high-low systems. These bulbs are designed to replace compatible halogen bulbs and use fixed or adjustable chip positioning to support proper alignment in projector and reflector housings.
LED Fog Light Bulbs & Kits
H1, H3, H8, H10, H11, 9006, 5202, 9140, 9145, PY13W, PSX26W, and 880/881.
Designed for low-mounted bumper applications, fog lights are available in white (around 6000K) and yellow (approximately 3000K–4300K) color temperatures. Yellow light can improve contrast and reduce glare in fog, rain, and snow, while white light provides a clean appearance and strong visibility in clear conditions or light mist.
LED Signaling & Safety Lights
This collection includes turn signals, brake lights, tail lights, reverse lights, switchback bulbs, and CANbus-compatible sets. Many options provide instant illumination and clear contrast between running-light and signaling functions.
Interior & Auxiliary LED Lighting
Upgrade dome lights, map lights, trunk lights, license-plate bulbs, accent lighting, and Auxiliary LED Lighting with efficient options available in multiple bulb sizes and colors.
High-output LED bulbs generate heat around their base and electronic components. Depending on the product, heat is managed through aluminum heat sinks, active cooling fans, or hybrid cooling designs to help maintain stable output in confined housings.
Correct bulb positioning and beam alignment are essential for safe driving. Properly positioned LED chips help maintain a controlled beam pattern, while excessive brightness or poor alignment can create glare and reduce visibility in poor weather. For on-road use, always ensure that the bulb-and-housing combination produces a properly controlled beam pattern and complies with DOT, SAE, or other local requirements.
