7443 Switchback LED Lights Overview
These 7443 switchback LED bulbs come with a single built-in resistor. Available in white and amber, these switchback lights spread light 360° for maximum output, unlike other brands’ LED bulbs, which have resistors on both filaments. In our case, it's single and runs only on the amber turn signal side. A resistor on both filaments can melt the housing or damage the LED over time.
Our Design protects the LED from constant heat, eliminating this issue. This prevents hyper-flashing and error codes. We even took it one step further. We added a cooling fan to help the bulbs last longer.
The fan only turns on when the high filament is engaged, to reduce heat when the resistor is on. Our LED is designed to replace the factory incandescent bulb without extra resistors or parts. Install it in place of your factory incandescent bulb; no separate resistor or extra parts needed.

Each bulb in this pair of LED turn signal bulbs with built-in resistors carries 54 SMD LED chips: 18 for white and 36 for amber. Run a clean 6000K white for parking or daytime running lights, then switch to a bright 3500K amber the second your turn signal kicks in, noticeably brighter than a stock incandescent bulb.

Please Note: For a switchback to work correctly, your socket must have 3 wires. If your socket has only 2 wires, your vehicle will not show both white and amber. It will only show 1. Most 7443 applications have 3 wires, which allows both white and amber to work.

These are great lights. They fit perfectly and worked as intended. As any light with a built in transistor, these can hyper flash if your turn signals are on for a long period (such as at a light). The hyper flash is intermittent though so it’s no where near as annoying as other lights.
These really cleaned up the front of my CX-5.
The switchback turn signals are impressive. They are bright, almost like having an extra running light.
And, no hyperflash either on my 2015 Ford F150 XLT.
Only thing I noticed...occasionally the turn signal will flash white instead of amber for just an instant. Only noticeable on a dark night though.
Great purchase, I have had other brands and have had to install resistors. These are a really nice product.

These lights are glorious! There is no guess work whatsoever. Pop them in and you get a bright white light (that does a reasonable job at adding forward illumination themselves) and once the signal is turned on, there is the crisp amber.
I will note that apparently, the signal is one of few bulbs the base model's computer monitors. In my Jeep at least, it thinks the signal bulbs are out, but have confirmed that they in fact working properly and blinking at proper pace, despite the computer indicating otherwise (fast ding and blink on the instrument cluster)
I accidentally purchased the wrong switchback led bulb. I noticed my mistake a few minutes later. I purchased at 5am, send a email by 5:15am. I seen they didn’t open until 9am by 9:02 I had a email response!!!! Absolutely great customer service, they changed the bulb to correct size no problem. Then I received a email about shipping and for a few more dollars had it upgraded to 2 day shopping and I received it by 11am the next day! Absolutely impressed with this company all the way around. The product is a true plug and play. It took maybe 5 min to install. Buy these!!!!!
