There are no general numbers when it comes to the service lifetime of all H7 HID or LED bulbs since it greatly depends on the characteristics of each particular device, including its design, cooling performance, electrical parameters, switching cycles, and even vibration.

As an example, for a common OSRAM H7 halogen bulb, the B3 lifetime is 330 hours, while the Tc lifetime equals 550 hours.

H7 is the designation for the kind of bulb; however, there could have been a different retainer clip, adapter ring, dust cap, and/or clearance in the housing by the automobile's manufacturer.

This means that the H7 LED bulb can have the right base, but will still need an adapter or extra space for the driver or cooling system. The H7 LED bulb assembly is bigger than a normal halogen bulb.
